the sky is falling...

Each time comet Halley passes around the sun on its elongated orbit – every 76 years – it lays down a fresh track of debris for Earth to plow through. I missed staying up to watch the meteor shower in the early morning hours last night. I, however, woke up at 5 am and looked out the window, saw maybe one or two streaks considering the fact I'm in the middle of the city and couldn't help but imagine the Earth PLOWING through a sea of debris. It was an interesting fantasy and I went back to sleep feeling a little small...
