And so as we watched a documentary, Food Matters, and it all made sense; this idea of food and its power to heal and power life, your body was simple to understand. The one element I felt that was missing in this discussion was the pleasure found in eating food. Good food. Delicious food. Not just being a Jack n the Box junkie, but enjoying cooking and eating food. Macaroni and cheese, juicy burgers, chicken alfredo, jambalaya, mashed potatoes, ice cream, chocolate dipped strawberries, chicken wings and fries, cookies, meatloaf, that fat steak, turkey and stuffing, greens, tacos, and so on and so on.
