I just love that my late night has now become 6pm instead of midnight! Its rather funny because it makes us all look kinda old when we're out on the weekend and falling asleep when the sun goes down.
So things have changed quite a bit for us this year. Honestly, God has us moving in a new direction. After our practically being kicked out of a kitchen (NOT Gordon Ramsey style) we just haven't had ANY catering jobs. And the confession...I haven't missed it at all!
Then this Thanksgiving rather than being on the receiving end we chose to be on the giving side and invited the family over to our new place and we got to cooking. One of my family members asked us if we were gonna have it catered! LoL! I think it qualified as being catered since we did the cooking. Teehee. It felt good too. It was nice to cook again. It was a little exhilarating to have this in the oven, and that on the stove, and mixing this over here and setting up the table over there, while all the while smiling, hugging and laughing with the crowd. Being in a time crunch was fun. :)
But..I think I have moved on from the cooking...for now. Maybe you'll catch me at Christmas or New Years or Super Bowl...sitting in front of the tv...in someone else's house...ha ha ha!!
p.s. I admit...I had a great Thanksgiving this year....thanks family for filling our house with love and laughter.
