Late Night Confession

We duked it out verbally. You do this and You do that. You don't do this and You don't do that. No joy, no service towards one another. No love, no compassion.

In the whole thing, a message from God rose up in me, "Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation." Isaiah 12:3

I came to a realization that we could come together in one simple move to honor God's plan for joy, set the example for our children, and have time to connect to one another.

Do what we need from the other...together. It seems a weird statement but for instance, I need romance and he needs peace after a stressful work day and rather than look to each other to do one for the other, we could do the romance together or veg out together. Joy is not compromised. Joy is a gift, everyday...
